Vol. 63 No. 18

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the business as on the Order Paper, items 3 to 6 inclusive.

Can the Vice-President say whether the House is likely to sit to-morrow?

If the business as ordered be not concluded we will meet to-morrow. Representations have been made to the Government with regard to the meeting of the Dáil next week, and it has been decided, in order to facilitate members who wish to attend the Horse Show, that the Dáil should not be asked to sit next week.

When does the Vice-President suggest the House should adjourn?

We will meet the following week for whatever days are necessary to complete the business.

The House is not going to sit next week?

Is it proposed to provide any time before the Dáil adjourns for discussion of the large number of private Deputies' motions on the Order Paper, or are they to be left over until after the next general election?

Are we to understand that there will be a general election during the Recess?
