Vol. 63 No. 19

Supplementary Estimates—1936-7.

I move:—

That leave be given by the Dáil to introduce the following Supplementary Estimates for the services of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1937, namely:—

Votes Nos.—

11 (Public Works and Buildings),

58 (Transport and Meteorological Services),

63 (Posts and Telegraphs).

Leave granted.

When will the Estimates be taken?

As soon as item No. 16 on the Order Paper has been disposed of. It is assumed we will get all the stages of that Bill to-day.

It is proposed to put those in before the Land Bill?

It is assumed that all their provisions will have been fully discussed on No. 16, and that that Bill having been passed by the Dáil with those Estimates before it, it will approve of the Estimates without any discussion.

The presumption is a very large one.

I hope, even in Deputy Dillon's case we may presume to make it.
