Vol. 63 No. 20

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Limerick Corporation Officials' Superannuation.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state when he will sanction the superannuation awarded to certain officials of the Limerick Corporation by the City Manager.

Eleven pensions have already been sanctioned. Owing to the difficulty of procuring accurate information from the records in Limerick, some time elapsed before definite proposals could be made. To obviate hardship, interim payments were authorised last January. This arrangement will come to an end on 30th September. Before that date all the remaining cases will, I hope, be disposed of.
