Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Unemployment in Building Trades.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the number of persons normally employed in the building trades (setting out separately the figures for each craft and for builders' labourers) who were registered in the Dublin district as unemployed at each of the following dates in 1934, 1935 and 1936, i.e., the first week in January, April, July and October.

A statement will be circulated with the Official Report showing the numbers in each category of building trade workers on the Live Register at Dublin Employment Exchange during the first week of January, April, July and October for each of the years 1934, 1935 and 1936. The figures for October, 1936, are preliminary and subject to revision.

Following is the statement:
