Vol. 64 No. 8

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take items 1 and 2 on the Order Paper up to 1 o'clock, if necessary; item 5 then to be taken. The Dáil will adjourn at 4 o'clock until Wednesday, February 3.

Will the Vice-President say how long the Parliamentary Secretary to the Minister for Finance is going to speak? An important aspect to consider is whether 2½ hours is sufficient time for the discussion of the two motions.

As far as I am concerned I should say that five minutes will do me.

I move: "That the Dáil sit later than 2.30 p.m. and that the Order for the adjournment be taken not later than 4 p.m."

Ordered accordingly.

It is understood that not later than 1 o'clock the motion for the adjournment will be taken.

Not later than 1 o'clock.

Agreed.
