Vol. 65 No. 3

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The Saorstát and Imperial Conference.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether it is intended to hold a meeting of the Imperial Conference in 1937, and, if so, whether the Government of Saorstát Eireann intends to be represented at it.

It is intended to hold a meeting of the Imperial Conference in 1937. No decision has been taken concerning the representation of Saorstát Eireann thereat.

Arising out of the reply, will the President be in a position to inform the House when it is proposed to take that decision, and will he further say, when that decision is made, if he will take the earliest opportunity of communicating it to the House?

I cannot say when it will be necessary to make a decision.
