Vol. 65 No. 7

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Proposed Hospital for Cahirciveen.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether the Kerry Board of Health has submitted a proposal to his Department with regard to the building of a new hospital at Cahirciveen, and, if so, whether he will expedite sanction so that the erection of this much-needed hospital may be undertaken at once.

The reply to the first part of the question is in the affirmative. As regards the second part, the board had already entered into large commitments for hospital improvements, and further works of this nature will have to be considered in relation to the present financial position of the county.
