I move:
"That Dáil Eireann approves of the conventions concerning night work in bakeries adopted by the International Labour Conference at its Seventh Session on the 8th June, 1925, a copy of which was laid on the Table of the Dáil on the 27th April, 1926, and recommends the Executive Council to take the necessary steps for its ratification."
Recently the Dáil enacted the Night Work in Bakeries Act and, in consequence, it is possible for us to ratify the international convention concerning night work in bakeries. The Act is in operation and the ratification of the convention is purely formal in these circumstances.
