Vol. 66 No. 4

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Participation in Imperial Conference.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether he will state the circumstances which, in the opinion of the Government, make it obvious that the Irish Free State cannot usefully participate in an Imperial Conference at the present time.

A statement of the circumstances referred to would not be helpful. I can only repeat that, in my opinion, they should be obvious to Deputies.
