Vol. 66 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Attendance at Imperial Conference.

asked the Minister for External Affairs whether it is the aim of the Government to see removed, or contribute to removing, the obstacles that impede attendance at the Imperial Conference.

It is certainly the aim of the Government to see removed, and they have always been prepared to play their part in removing, all obstacles that impede attendance at any Conference, including the Imperial Conference, from which, in their view, reasonably useful results for this country might be expected, provided always, of course, that there is no matter of vital principle involved.
