Vol. 66 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Acquisition and Division of Rath Lands (County Clare).

Mr. Hogan

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state if representations have been made to the Irish Land Commission relative to the acquisition and distribution of land in the parish of Rath, County Clare, of some six derelict farms, having an area in all of over 200 acres, and if, in consideration of the needs of landless men and uneconomic holders in the area, he will make arrangements to have an early decision taken.

representations for the acquisition and division of lands situate in the parish of Rath, County Clare, have been received by the Land Commission and the question is at present under consideration of instituting proceedings for the acquisition of the lands of Newtown, Runard and Dromtobin South on the Butler estate and the lands of Shessiv on the White and Flanagan estates.
