Vol. 66 No. 14

Committee on Finance. - Vote 60—Marine Service.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £6,415 chun slánuithe na suime is gá chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1938, chun Tuarastail agus Costaisí na Muir-Sheirbhíse (Achtanna Loingis Cheannaíochta, 1894 go 1933, agus an tAcht Imeall Trágha, 1933 (Uimh. 12 de 1933)).

That a sum not exceeding £6,415 be granted to complete the sum necessary to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1938, for the Salaries and Expenses of the Marine Service (Merchant Shipping Acts, 1894-1933, and the Foreshore Act, 1933 (No. 12 of 1933)).

As Deputies will have noted, there is practically no change in this Estimate as compared with previous years. The work of the service has continued on a normal basis and nothing of outstanding importance has arisen.

Does this Vote include the Fishery Protection Service?

Vote put and agreed to.
