Vol. 66 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Wages of Ships Inspectors.

asked the Minister for Agriculture if he proposes taking any action to deal with repeated demands made by the members of the Ships Inspectors' Association for better rates of wages, payment for Sunday duty and overtime and fixed hours of duty, and, if so, when he hopes to reply to repeated communications sent him on the matter.

A decision on one of the matters mentioned by the Deputy, namely, payment for Sunday duty, has been communicated to the ships inspectors. The other matters are still under consideration.
