Written Answers. - Expenditure from Road Fund.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he will state the amount paid from the Road Fund during the year ended 31st March, 1937, by way of (a) Gárda Síochána expenses, (b) interest on advances under the Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926; (c) grants paid to local authorities, indicating the separate accounts paid by way of maintenance, improvement, damaged bridges, unemployment relief, etc.

The amount paid from the Road Fund during the year ended 31st March, 1937, by way of (a) Gárda Síochána expenses was £9,993 15s. 0d., (b) interest on advances under Road Fund (Advances) Act, 1926, was £64,276 8s. 3d., and (c) grants paid to local authorities under
