Committee on Finance. - Vote 20—Expenses Under the Electoral Act and the Juries Act.

I move:—

Go ndeontar suim ná raghaidh thar £17,250 chun íoctha an Mhuirir a thiocfaidh chun bheith iníoctha i rith na bliana dar críoch an 31adh lá de Mhárta, 1939, chun Costaisí fén Acht Timpeal Toghachán, 1923, agus fé Acht na nGiúirithe, 1927 (Uimh. 12 de 1923 agus Uimh. 23 de 1927).

That a sum not exceeding £17,250 be granted to defray the Charge which will come in course of payment during the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1939, for Expenses under the Electoral Act, 1923, and the Juries Act, 1927 (No. 12 of 1923 and No. 23 of 1927).

The total contribution under this Vote is £17,250, against £17,500 in the previous year, a decrease of £250. There has been a general trend towards a slight reduction in this Vote for some years.
