Vol. 70 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Galway Disability Pension Claim.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the cause of the delay in considering the application of Michael Connolly, Townagh, Gort, for a disability pension, a claim for which is before his Department for a considerable time.

The application of Michael Connolly under the Army Pensions Act, 1937, which was received in my Department on the 27th September last, is under investigation by the Military Service Registration Board. Owing to conflicting evidence the board have experienced difficulty in dealing with this case, but they hope to be in a position to furnish their report in the near future.
