Vol. 73 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Railway Employees' Wages.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce whether he can state the total sum represented by the cuts in wages sanctioned by the Irish Railway Wages Board which is being suffered by the employees of the Great Southern Railways Company subsequent to January 1st, 1933.

The answer is in the negative.

Does that mean that the Parliamentary Secretary does not like to ask the railway company for the desired information?

I do not know about that. It is a big job to have done.

Did the Parliamentary Secretary make application to the railway company?

Why not?

I was not asked.

You have been asked in the question.
