Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - South Cork Board of Assistance.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if on the following dates, viz., 8th June, 1936; 9th November, 1936; 30th November, 1936, and 21st December, 1936, sanction was requested for the adoption by the South Cork Board of Public Assistance for certain scale salaries for certain officers who are carrying out duties of a responsible character at standards of remuneration commensurate with a subordinate position; and if he is now prepared to sanction the scale salaries adopted by the board.

Requests for sanction to increases in salaries of various members of the staff employed by the South Cork Board of Assistance have been received. It is hoped to have a decision in the matter before the end of the present month.
