Vol. 73 No. 6

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - County Tipperary Holding.

asked the Minister for Lands what is the cause of the delay in providing Patrick Cosgrove, Pollough, Newport, County Tipperary, Cronin estate, R. No. L315, with a passage to his holding and dwelling-house, in view of the fact that provision was made for such accommodation at the time of the purchase of the estate from the landlord a long time ago.

Mr. Boland

The right of way in question affects the non-vested holdings of five tenants on the estate of Caroline Cronin, Record No. S.315, and two vested holdings on the estate of J.B. Barrington, Record No. S.1158, County Tipperary. As it has not been possible to come to an agreement with the interested parties, the question of defining the respective rights of way and making an order under Section 43 of the Land Act, 1923, and Section 39 of the Land Act, 1931, is being dealt with by the Land Commission as expeditiously as possible.
