The total number of non-contributory pensions payable at September 30th, 1938, under the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Acts was 28,538, and the information sought by the Deputy as to the numbers at each rate from 1/- per week upwards for widows and orphans separately is set out in tabular form and will be printed in the Official Report.
