asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether his attention was directed to the statement published in the Press on the 16th instant by the Government Information Bureau to the effect that the time fixed for holding the local elections has been postponed until 1940; and, whether, in view of the announcement made by him in the Dáil on the 8th instant in regard to the subject, he will make a statement about the present intention.
