Vol. 74 No. 12

Written Answers. - Dublin War Memorial.

Mr. Brodrick

asked the Minister for Finance if he can state the total amount to date expended from the Exchequer or other public sources towards the cost of the provision of the Great War Memorial Park in Dublin.

The total amount expended to date from State funds towards the cost of the provision of the War Memorial Park in Dublin is £37,836 9s. 8d. It may be added that the memorial was erected out of funds provided by the war memorial trustees, the State contribution being devoted to the development and lay out of the surrounding grounds as a public park.
