Vol. 75 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Re-arrangement of Kerry Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands if he will state what is the present position regarding the rearrangement scheme, etc., of the O'Donoghue estate, Glenbeigh, and when it is expected that the work will be commenced.

Mr. Boland

The question appears to refer to the estate of G. C. P. O'Donoghue, Record No. E.C. 8669, County Kerry. This case is the subject of proceedings under the Land Act, 1903, and the Land Commission, having fully considered the matter, do not propose to make any re-arrangement of the holdings. They propose to carry out general improvement works on the estate as soon as all the tenants affected have signed the requisite supplemental agreements to repay the advances sanctioned for the works.
