Written Answer. - Importation of Honey.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will state the quantity and value of honey imported into Éire for the year ending December, 1938, or nearest convenient date, the countries from which the honey was imported, the names and addresses of the principal firms importing the honey, and what quantity they imported (a) free of duty, and (b) on payment of duty.

The following table shows, by country of origin, the quantity and value of honey, including artificial honey imported (a) free of duty and (b) duty paid during the year 1938: It is not proposed to give particulars of the quantity of honey imported by the individual firms.
