Supplementary Estimate.

I move:—

That leave be given by the Dáil to introduce the following Supplementary Estimate for the service of the year ending on the 31st day of March, 1940, namely:—

Vote No. 41—(Local Government and Public Health).

When will the Estimate be taken?

The Estimate will be taken on Tuesday next.

Will the Minister say what is the amount of this Estimate?

It is a token Estimate of £10 in respect of expenses in connection with the Milk and Dairies Act, 1935 and grants under the Housing (Financial and Miscellaneous Provisions) Act, 1932 to 1939. It will be circulated to-day.

Is this a Supplementary Estimate?

It is a token Estimate of £10.

Before the Budget is even finished?

The Deputy knows as well as I know what a token Estimate means.

I know it is capable of infinite expansion. That is all I know about it.
