Vol. 76 No. 17

Motion for Late Sitting.

I move:—

That the Dáil sit later than 2.30 p.m. to-day, and that the order for the adjournment be taken not later than 5 p.m.

Can it be taken, Sir, that the House may sit a little later than 5, in order to take the division, provided that the mover of the motion may rise to speak not later than, say, 4.30?

The Chair would be very pleased to get a direction from the House and an agreement that Deputy Dillon will be called on at 4.30 p.m. to conclude the debate.

We agree to that.

Is the Deputy satisfied with half an hour in which to conclude?

Perfectly satisfied.

Is it agreed that Deputy Dillon will be called on at 4.30 at the latest?

Motion agreed to.
