asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health whether, having regard to the inadequacy of the provisions made under the non-contributory part of the Widows' and Orphans' Pensions Act for destitute widows and their children, he will take steps to increase the pensions payable in these cases, especially in view of the recent increase in the cost of commodities.
