The number of labourers' cottages provided under the Labourers Acts in Laoighis county is 1,903 and in Offaly, 1,526. Applications for purchase under the cottage purchase schemes in force were received from 104 of the tenants in Laoighis and from 230 of the tenants in Offaly.
