Vol. 80 No. 12

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Kerry Court Clerkship.

asked the Minister for Justice whether in view of the fact that the District Court Clerkship for Kenmare, County Kerry, is vacant for over three years, he will now take steps to fill the vacancy.

The post in question is not, in fact, vacant. The holder of the post was seconded for duty elsewhere a considerable time ago, and the duties of the post are being discharged in the meantime by a member of the Gárda Síochána as is usual in these circumstances. This arrangement will be terminated as soon as possible.
