Vol. 81 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Training of Roof-Watchers.

asked the Minister for the Co-ordination of Defensive Measures whether he has considered the provision of facilities for the training of roof-watchers so that in the event of air raids it will be possible for industrial and commercial establishments to continue at work until the danger to such establishments becomes imminent.

I have considered this matter carefully. I do not think that such a service is necessary at this stage. Plans for the provision of the necessary practical training have been made and the matter will be kept under review.
