Vol. 82 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Military Service Pension.

asked the Minister for Defence if he will state the cause of the delay in disposing of an application for the payment of military service pension made by Mr. Laurence Dunne, Ballyfin Road, Portlaoighise, County Laoighis; whether the applicant appeared before the Military Service Pensions Board in support of his application in April, 1937, and whether other applicants claiming credit for having rendered similar service are now in receipt of pensions; and whether he can now see his way to sanction payment of pension in this case.

The referee has reached a decision on the application under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, by Mr. Laurence Dunne, Ballyfin Road, Portlaoighise, and the finding of the referee was communicated to the applicant on the 19th instant.
