Vol. 82 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Seed Potatoes for Connemara.

asked the Minister for Agriculture when the seed potatoes recently promised to the people of Connemara and paid for by them will be delivered and whether in view of existing circumstances he will regard the delivery of these seed potatoes as a matter of urgent importance, and further, if he will state where these seed potatoes have been purchased.

Part of the supplies of seed potatoes allocated to Connemara under the Seed Distribution Scheme has already been distributed. The remainder is in process of distribution and I hope that delivery will be completed by the end of the present week. The seed potatoes have been purchased in various parts of Éire.
