Vol. 84 No. 15

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Price of Imported Wheat.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state the cost per barrel to the millers of the wheat recently landed at the port of Dublin.

None of this wheat has been allocated to the millers and the price has not yet been fixed.

Is the Minister not in a position to state the approximate price of that wheat delivered?

The price of the cargo is not of any consequence. It would have to be averaged.

Is the Minister in a position to state the c.i.f. price of that cargo?

No price has been fixed.

It is about 63/- per barrel.

In that case the figure probably is wrong.
