Vol. 85 No. 5

Written Answers. - Military Service Pension.

asked the Minister for Defence if a full investigation has been made into the claim of William O'Donoghue, Coolatooder, Ballinhassig, for a military service pension in respect of service with the West Cork Brigade; will he state if it has been determined that William O'Donoghue has been found eligible for such a pension; and, if so, what is the cause of the delay in making the award.

The application for service certificate made under the Military Service Pensions Act, 1934, by Mr. William O'Donoghue, Coolatooder, Ballinhassig, County Cork, was fully investigated by the referee, who has reported to me that Mr. O'Donoghue is not a person to whom the Act applies. The applicant is being informed accordingly.
