Vol. 85 No. 8

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Flooding in Kerry.

Mr. Crowley

asked the Minister for Finance if, in view of the recent flooding of the Flesk Valley, Killientierna Parish, Kerry, and the consequent loss of live stock, he will consider the advisability of immediately carrying out a scheme under the minor relief schemes for the removal of obstacles and the straightening of river banks.

The drainage work referred to is not considered suitable for execution as a minor employment scheme.
