Vol. 85 No. 14

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Electricity Charges.

asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he is aware that the Galway Electricity Consumers' and Ratepayers' Association has been carrying on a campaign of publicity for a number of years for a reduction in the valuation charge for electricity in the Galway area on the ground that it is excessive as compared with the charge in other towns of similar size; and if he will state what steps, if any, he is taking in the matter.

I have no functions regarding the fixing of the scale of charges for electricity.
