Vol. 86 No. 1

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - The L.S.F. Uniform.

asked the Minister for Justice if he is aware that, amongst the L.S.F., there is general dissatisfaction with the present poor-quality dungaree uniform; and whether he can hold out hope of supplying a more suitable and serviceable uniform at an early date.

I am aware that there is dissatisfaction with the quality of the uniform at present supplied to the L.S.F. The question of procuring a better quality material is at present under consideration, but the Deputy will appreciate that, in existing circumstances, supplies of suitable materials are very limited and difficult to obtain.
