Vol. 87 No. 1

Written Answers. - Congestion on Galway Estate.

asked the Minister for Lands whether it is the intention of The Land Commission to migrate one or more of the tenants on the Lloyd Estate this year for the purpose of relieving the congestion in the townLand of Carnakib, Headford.

The question appears to refer to the estate of T.W. Lloyd, the holdings on which were vested in the tenant-purchasers on resale by the Estates Commissioners under Section 6 of the Irish Land Act, 1903. The possibility of migrating one or more of these tenant purchasers will be considered if and when suitable alternative lands become available.
