Phelan at Newcastlewest, are all waterpower mills, and whether, in view of the shortage of electric power, he will grant permits to the owners of these mills to resume work.

I have granted Milling (Home-Grown Wheat) Permits to Messrs. Sparling, Sherwood and Shine. I am not prepared to do so in the case of Mr. O'Farrell, whose mill I have had reason to close down. Mr. Phelan's application for a Milling (Home-Grown Wheat) Permit is still under consideration.
