Vol. 88 No. 8

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take business in the following order:- No. 1 (Final Report of the Committee of Public Accounts), No. 8 (Intoxicating Liquor Bill), No. 9 (Trade Union Bill), No. 10 (Electricity Bill), No. 11 (Creameries Bill), No. 12 (Exported Live Stock Bill), No. 13 (School Attendance Bill), No. 15 (Vote 76), No. 2 (Notice of Motion), No. 3 (Votes 30 and 53), No. 4 (Estimates for Public Services—Report), No. 5 (Issue out of the Central Fund), No. 6 (Issue out of the Central Fund), No. 7 (Appropriation Bill), and No. 16 (Customs Bill). Then later it is proposed to take the two Private Deputies' motions, Nos. 7 and 8. We propose to move that the Dáil sit later than 2.30 p.m. and that the order for the adjournment be taken not later than 12 midnight.

I suppose this is in view of your hope to adjourn for the Summer Recess to-day?

To what date?

To the 14th October. As regards the private motions, Nos. 7 and 8, three hours have been allotted to each.

May I take it that some sort of regulation burial has been given to No. 18 (Saint Laurence O'Toole Hospital Bill), and No. 19 (Valuation Bill)?

Do not disturb the dead.

In cold storage?

No. 14 (Central Bank Bill) has not been mentioned.

He has dropped that altogether—it is forgotten.

As regards the Appropriation Bill, will there be a request for all stages to-day?

I was thinking that.

I am glad I did not disappoint the Deputy.

How well I knew what was in your mind. I take it that if we do not conclude business at midnight to-night, we will sit to-morrow, or do we adjourn till Tuesday?

Do not be so pessimistic.
