(a) The quantity of sugar for which permits have been issued in the current year for the homemaking of jam up to and including 24th October, 1942, amounted to 3,282 tons.
(b) I regret I cannot see my way to give the quantity of sugar released for the manufacture of condensed milk during the same period, as this would involve disclosure of the business of an individual firm.
