Vol. 89 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Postal Delivery in Roscrea District.

asked the Minister for Posts and Telegraphs if he is aware of the fact that there is no daily delivery of post in the district of Balloughmore, Roscrea; and whether, in view of the serious inconvenience caused to the residents, he will take early steps to have this matter rectified.

I am aware that the frequency of postal delivery in the Balloughmore district is three days per week. I have had inquiry made regarding the provision of a delivery on each weekday, but I am sorry that this would not be warranted on account of the loss which would be entailed.
