Vol. 91 No. 14

Order of Business.

It is proposed to take the order of business, as on the Order Paper: Votes 62 to 29. Public business will not be interrupted to take Private Deputies' business.

Will the Minister indicate when it is likely that the Taoiseach's Estimate will be taken?

I understand that the intention is to take it to-morrow.

Will the Finance Estimate follow that?

I am not sure that it will be possible to take the Finance Estimate this week, by reason of the absence of the Minister for Finance through illness, but I am sure that that matter, probably, will be raised through the Whips of the various Parties, because it is quite obvious that the Vote for the Department of Finance must be taken very soon.

Supposing that we are able to deal with the Taoiseach's Estimate to-morrow, will we then take up the Finance Estimate?

I think it is unlikely that we shall be able to do so.

Can the Minister indicate what matters will be discussed under that Estimate?

I think the Deputy should seek that information through the Whips.
