Vol. 91 No. 18

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sligo Land Compensation Claim.

asked the Minister for Finance when compensation will be paid to Andrew Cullen, of Ballyconnell, Cloghboley, County Sligo, for the land which he gave to the Department of Defence, for the erection of a coast watching station about four years ago.

The delay in paying Mr. Cullen has been due to a legal difficulty, which, it is anticipated, will be resolved in the near future.

Will the matter be settled this year or next year?

I would not say it will run into next year?
