Vol. 92 No. 9

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Passport Regulations.

asked the Minister for Justice if he will state whether any natives of Northern Ireland, at present in Éire, have to report regularly to Gárda stations in Éire, and under what circumstances.

Mr. Boland

A number of men, some of whom are natives of Northern Ireland, have been released from detention under the Emergency Powers (No. 20) Order, 1940, on giving undertakings to dissociate themselves from unlawful organisations, and to report to the Gárda Síochána before changing their residences.
