Vol. 95 No. 2

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Supplies for Threshings.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will see that extra supplies of butter and tea will be given to the farmers to tide them over the threshing period which ordinarily occupies only a day or two.

As indicated in my reply to a similar question on the 19th September, 1944, I regret that the limited supplies of tea and butter available would not permit of the granting of supplementary rations of those commodities to farmers engaged on threshing operations.
