Vol. 95 No. 3

Ceisteanna — Questions. Oral Answers. - Sanitary Accommodation for Dublin Houses.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that a number of dwellinghouses in Blackhorse Avenue, Dublin, owned by the Dublin Corporation and occupied by tenants and their families, are without sanitary accommodation of any kind and have no water supply laid on, and if he will make representations to the Dublin Corporation to have this unsatisfactory state of affairs brought to an end.

I understand that the houses referred to are included in a scheme of the Corporation of Dublin for the provision of sanitary facilities therein. The work of installation of the internal services will be governed by the availability of the necessary materials, some of which are at present in short supply.
