asked the Minister for Finance if he will state the number of (a) established and (b) unestablished officers of each grade who retired from the Civil Service between the 1st July, 1940, and the 31st December, 1944.

Information in the form of a tabular statement showing the numbers of (a) established and (b) unestablished officers of each grade who retired from the Civil Service between 1st January, 1941, and 31st December, 1943, will be circulated with the official reports. Particulars for the year ended 31st December, 1944, will be supplied to the Deputy at a later date.

Is it proposed to collate the information for 1940?
If the Deputy presses for it, I will get it for him.
If it is not inconvenient. If it is inconvenient, I do not want to press for it.
Very well. Thank you.
