Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sugar Statistics.

asked the Minister for Supplies if he will state with reference to sugar (a) the total amounts provided in the campaign seasons 1943-44 and 1944-45; (b) the estimated carry over at the beginning of 1944-45 campaign; (c) the total consumption of private persons based on the sugar ration for the years 1943 and 1944; (d) the total quantity used for catering purposes for the years 1943 and 1944; (e) the total quantity used for manufacturing purposes for the years 1943 and 1944; (f) the quantities used for the production of condensed milk and sweets in the years 1943 and 1944, and (g) the estimated quantities exported in the form of manufactured goods in the years 1943 and 1944.

As the reply to the Deputy's question is in the form of a tabular statement it will be circulated with the Official Report.
