Vol. 97 No. 16

Ceisteanna—Questions. Oral Answers. - Sale of County Cork Castle.

asked the Minister for Local Government and Public Health if he is aware that Castlefreke Castle, Clonakilty, County Cork, has been offered for sale by the Forestry Department; and, if so, if he will have the possibilities of utilising this building in connection with the campaign against tuberculosis examined, and, if possible, authorise the responsible local authority to proceed in the matter.

A final determination in regard to the site of the regional sanatorium proposed to be established at Cork under the Tuberculosis (Establishment of Sanatoria) Act, 1945, has not been made. The officers of the local authority are being asked for a report on the site referred to by the Deputy.
